Did you see the January issue of Creating Keepsakes? Ethnic Inspired products and pages is a trend for 2006. I was thrilled to see this article...even more thrilled that my beloved Grassroots products was also a featured product in the "3 products 5Scrapbookers" column.
As one of my sistah's pointed out, what may be trendy in the CK world, is a matter of everyday pages for some of us already culturally inspired scrapbookers.
Anyway, challenge yourself to select one Kwanzaa principle and look back on your photos of 2005 and see how you demonstrated it in your life this past year and create an "ethnic inspired" page. Check back for my layout by the end of the weekend.
Lisa...I found the article very interesting, I hope that mfrs. are finally seeing that there are other ways to design products. Will Grassroots come out with other products? It doesn't appear anything new has been released since 2004.

I had not even picked up my CK until I saw your post on one of the groups. I was glad to see that ethnic products were a trend. Now to go back and look at the 3 products, 5 scrappers article. I stopped before I got there. I will check back for your layout and hope to get to post one of my own.
