This past Saturday the PTA at my kids school held an all day crop as a fundraiser! I've been to hundreds of crops and this was by far the best! Davina you have really raised the bar. Here's what we enjoyed (I forgot my camera so no pics...sorry).
- 13 hours of child-free cropping
- Boy scouts greeted you outside the building to take your bags to your reserved seat.
- Your very own 6ft of cropping space.
- Breakfast
- Door prizes almost every hour.
- Hot lunch...the biggest sandwiches from Glory Days
- Scrap Alley (mobile scrapbooking store), Close To My Heart, Stampin' Up, Creative Memories and Color An Angel vendor around the perimeter of the room.
- Classes, classes, classes
- Snacks
- Tool table with 11 different alphabet fonts, quickutz and huge selection of Sizzix die-cuts.
- Music
- Dinner
- And 25 other friendly scrappers
All I can say is that the day went by way too fast.
Wow....sounds like you had a wonderful time...Now how on earth did you forget your camera? I should talk..I forgot mine for the book signing with Donna D. ....LOL! Glad you had fun at the crop.

WOW! Lisa it sounds like you all had a great time. Girl keep your camera in your purse. Mine is always there. Thanks also for keeping me updated on what's going on. I received my first Classy Kit this month and I love it.

What a FABULOUS idea for a fundraiser! If you don't mind...please e- me with what they charged? I'd love to pitch this to my PTO!
I donated an "ultimate craft party" to my PTO's recent auction....it went for $500 and in two weeks I'm going to teach an off-the-hook 3 hour mini-book class to 6 ladies! It should be so fun!
Love it when we can raise $$ for the kids AND scrap at the same time! NIRVANA!

Glad you had a good time cropping. What a great idea for a fundraiser. I will have to keep that in mind.

Thank you Lisa, for the kind words. I had just as much fun at the crop as you did and I didn't have time to do more that two pages!
We raised a little bit of money (less than $1000) but it was a fabulous day and I've heard nothing but positive feedback. We will be doing it again May 20 so mark your calendars.
