I can recall scrapbooking at least since 2nd grade. Last week during the heat wave, we stayed indoors...basically cleaning one room at a time. WHile sorting through photos for my "Life Album" that I'll one day get to, I found any actual scrapbook from my elementary school years. I was most tickled by the 5th grade photos of me, since one of my daughters just finished the fifth grade, but I'll save that story for another post.
Here are three pages from that scrapbook.
Boy I've come a long way in terms of photo selection ( and choice of albums too). This was an award ceremony from when I belonged to a majorette corp.
Page to the right is a hodgepoge of stuff, but I was struck by my little "to do list" for when I got a dog (a topic brought up by my kids everyday) funny... the name I gave the dog doesn't match any name on my list.
A page with feather's... I guess I've always longed for texture on my pages.
I'm proud to say that every loose photo in my house is now catergorized and in an easy to retrieve location. Next, step is to scan my most memorable photos of my childhood and possibly blog about them in an effort to get that "Book of Me" done. Does that sound like a plan?

Love the early pages. I picked up my high school scrapbook from Mom's house not too long ago. Took me straight down memory lane.
