India Arie's song has taken on a whole new meaning for me. I've been having hair problems for six years now and this isn't the first time I've gone this short, but it was necessary. I was having terrible thinning problems, the texture was awful and it was always on my mind. I have when trivial things sap my energy so now it's gone and I feel free. I am not my hair but soul that lies within ( or however the lyrics go!)
You look beautiful Lisa! You are so much more than your hair.

You are definitely not your hair. We are all so much more. I've cut my hair off many times and have loved it quite short and natural...thinking of doing it again! You are wonderful just as you are.

Hey Lisa, I always say "Do You". It's nice to see a picture of you and the hubby on your blog, because we always see pictures of the kids. Not to mention, if I didn't know him personally I wouldn't believe he existed LOL.
