For 13 years now I've had a flexible work arrangement that has allowed me to be the primary care giver of my children. Today was one of those days when I am eternally grateful for being able to work from home.
The kids came home from school and we were on the tail end of homework, when someone from work called and I did my two finger snap for them to pipe down while I took the call. Well, they took this as an opportunity to break camp. They put their shoes on, got the bikes out of the garage and headed out to the bike path for a quick spin in a light rain. When I realized where they were, I grabbed the closest camera to grab some shots. I wanted this to serve as a visual reminder that I am so blessed to be at home when they come in from school.
Here they are racing downthe path. Joseph was doing pretty good at keeping up too. Then he took a spill, flat on his stomach (Didn't get photo because I was about to break out into a run) but no tears, he just got up and kept on going.
He kept telling me, "Look how fast I go Mommy!"
