New multi-culturally owned scrapbook business opens its doors. Check it out...if you place an order please put my name in as a referrer in the comment section. Scrapbook Takeout , I'm really digging their rubberstamps...one of the heart designs reminds me of the Sankofa adinkra symbol.
I'm really focused on preserving handwriting for some reason. Maybe it's because I've just written an book and I did not write one sentence of the book in my own handwriting...isn't that sad. I didn't even keep the old versions of my text...I used redlining and then accepted changes. The best Christmas gift I've ever been given is from my Dad's sister, she gave me a recipe from my Grandmother in her own handwriting....As soon as I (organize) find my photos of my Dad making the nutrolls I'm going to include the hadwritten recipe and create a special layout to hang in my kitchen...I need you to hold me to my word and ask to see it when you come to visit.

I know how you feel about handwriting. I cherish what I have in my mom's handwriting. It gives me flashbacks of watching her write and the times that I tried to copy it. I was never able to do it.

Hey Babe,
As always, enjoy reading and seeing pictures of the family. Nice to hear that you're happy with Mom's handwritten recipe. I'll be looking for your special layout in your kitchen when you get it done.
Hope to see all you guys soon.
Love to all,
Aunt Gida

Your post is so true. handwriting is important. I don't think I have any from my great granny and it makes me sad now that she has passed away. I don't like my handwriting, but I do use it on LO's every so often.
