The kids signed a pledge at school for a week of no television. I'm so proud of them, they worked in the yard on day one, played outside on day two, My Dad taught them how to play "Bones" Day three and they decided to learn how to play Upwords all by themselves on Day four....shsh don't tell'em...if they make through the whole week, I'll take them to the pet store to LOOK at a puppy...shsh!

ahh why didn't you tell me...I would have loved to get my husband to sign it as well!!! LOL He ALWAYS has to have the TV on!

I really admire your kids for keeping their commitment. I would cave after one day...LOL

I think I will try this in the summer...I have nightmares of hours of playstation and xbox in their future.

Did they do it? It’s 10:12 p.m. on Sunday evening, and the kids should be in bed now. Is May 21st day 7? Or is Tuesday, May 22nd day 7? I want to know if they made it, and if so I look forward to you telling us about the visit to LOOK at a puppy.
They are better than me to have lasted this long. I can’t go one day without looking at TV, even if it’s only for a few minutes.

The weather is good for such an experiment. Also, another good reason to scrap!
