The kids made it through the week with no t.v., I took them to the pet store to look at puppies on Monday night and they were closed...hopefully we'll get there some time over the weekend.
I spent the weekend in Atlanta at my first "Sistah Retreat" (there second)...It was fabulous, I see why it sold out on the first day...I think there's a wating list for the 3rd retreat in 2008.
Folks ask me all the time about local scrapbooking events, well... my girl Chela has made a nice listing so click here for all the Maryland Crops.

I will tell you that there was a lot of singing and dancing going on and I learned about the website Young, Black and Fabulous.
What did I accomplish? Outside of some much needed sleep, I did complete a 6x6 Farewell Album for Ellyn, an 8x8 album for my Dad on the train ride we took back in December, 14 8x8 pages for the sistah swap and 14 rolodex cards...I also got half way through my 30 day "All About Me" album...which I finished last night...will post pics later.

T puts on a great retreat. I hate I missed this one, but I will be there in September for sure. I'm so glad you all have such a fun time.

You are awesome! My DH bought me a great scrapbooking kit for Christmas and I haven't had the time to unwrap it yet. I am going to have to keep checking back for more inspiration.
