Today was the last day of school for the kids. I'll start by celebrating Leah...wow what a year for her. She had gymnastics two nights a week for 3.5 hours, where she has trained for 2 years and yet to compete (now that's drive...a real lesson in delayed gratification though). She became a Math master in Addition. She was in the newspaper a number of times, including the Washington Post. She won 3rd place in a countywide write-a-book program. She joined her brother's track team this past Spring and only intended to do one race, but decided on her own to stick it out through the rest of the outdoor season. She has increased her writing skills, gets ready fairly easy in the morning and is fanatic about putting healthy foods in her body (although she loves some bacon).
Leah is a complete joy to be around, she's an affectionate aunt, competitive athlete and has a silly laugh that makes me smile everytime I hear it.

Leah with her "Dream" flag that she made today...can't wait to scrapbook it. Please show Leah some love by posting a comment.
Way to Go....Leah!!!!
