My friend T.S. Grant wished me a “liberating Fourth” and that got me to thinking about what I’m liberated from.
This Fourth, I enjoyed watching my children enjoy the freedom of flight.
I was liberated from finding a crystal vase for our wild flowers and used whatever was on hand.
I’ve been liberated from a 9-5 job for the summer.
We were liberated from the typical Fourth of July activities and did entirely new and different things.
Most of all I have been liberated from the oppression that my ancestors faced as slaves right here in the state of Virginia where I am vacationing.
Your photos are amazing! I am an African American scrapbooker that presently lives in B'ham, Al. Found your site through a link of a friend. Hope you don't mind me dropping in!
