Yes, that's what my nine year volunteered to do for the last two weeks. She rose at 8 am and volunteered her time working at a summer school with special education students until 2:30 pm, got home at 3:00 and was off to 4 hours of gymnastics training where she didn't get home some nights until 8:30 pm and NEVER once did she complain...she even fixed her own breakfast, lunch and snacks everyday.
On the last day she was appreciated with a certificate and a gift certificate to Barnes & Nobles, which made her very happy. She has the perfect personality to work with special needs children.
Leah is an amazing young lady, and it will be very interesting to watch her grow up. 12 hours is a long day for anyone, and for Leah not to complain, further shows how special she is.
Great job Leah, I'm very proud of you.

That is wonderful, takes a really special person to give up their time at such a young age.
