The crisp air has finally arrived in Maryland. My favorite Fall memories are around football half time shows when I was the featured twirler at my high school. Baton twirling was a part of my life for 23 years...it's how my husband and I met...that's a story for another post.
I put on a little fire baton show for my family and neighbors Sunday night...now Jonathan wants me to perform for his birthday!
Talisa was in the group that I coached for ten years, we practiced a few tricks, but she got worried that she'd catch her weave on fire!
Notice the neighbor on her porch.
The pictures only add to the laughter of the story told in person. You must now be the coolest around. Thanks for posting.

All I can say is "you go girl".. How cool is that?
I also love the new look of your blog. Nice and airy and refreshing. It's nice to change things up a bit, isn't it?
I your "big" photos are great. It's nice that you increased your sizing. You're a good photographer and this really shows your shots of well.
Congrats!

LMBO at "she got worried that she'd catch her weave on fire". I'm so impressed by you. I twirled a flag in high school, but never once while it was aflame. No fair throwing in that teaser. I can't wait to hear the story behind how you met your husband. -e
