Do you remember this post 35 minutes of Crafting? Well, this past "Friday Project" as I will call it, even though I think I did it on a Thursday ,is an example of how inspiration strikes and you just run and do it. This line of thought is one of my ways I try to create BALANCE in my life.
My inspiration for this card came from Lisa Tutman-Oglesby's blog, because I have a similar stamp and my favorite fabric is linen. Instead of making a sachet (I limit my sewing projects) I made a card, that I will promptly hoard and not mail out because I think it's cute, even though I have enough supplies to make 100 more...
I stamped the image onto Close to My Heart linen paper and added a brad as a ring.
I know it may be simple, but when life is zooming by at 100 mph during the week, any type of craft item I put out is a great accomplishment. I hope you are inspired enough to just crank out just one card, just one creative thing, even if it's just a sketch or a homemade recipe using leftovers. The point is to not wish you had time, wish you had creativity, just use what you got in a different fashion today.
