I'm in beautiful Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for work...loving the sites. Tonight I got to visit the Art Museum to take a peek at the Chihuly glass sculpture. Absolutely fabulous.
I also got to visit the Oklahoma bombing memorial. I remember the bombing because I was pregnant with Jerin at the time and I was horrified that 29 children lost their lives, it's been a major reason why I've never had my 4 younger children in day care. I visited the site during the daylight hours and the evening to see the chairs lit with light from underneath. Beautiful.
Last stop was the state capitol. which looks like a mini version of U.S. Capitol an has a native american atop the dome. So I'm having fun connecting to my unknown native american ancestry, but I think I'll be breaking through some brick walls on that fron while I'm here. Here are some facts on the Capitol Dome.
Lisa - this is absolutely beautiful!!

Lisa,...next time you come to Oklahoma, let me know! I am only two hrs away! ;) I have also been to the memorial.. someone actually gave it exquisite design. It's a neat place for artwork and creativity.
