It's not often I get to read a book, but I try to read at least one or two a year, if you want a very entertaining, quick read, and have an interest in genealogy, medicine and local history, you will enjoy The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks byRebecca Skloot. This woman's cancer cells literally revolutionized modern medicine as we know it. I read this about two months ago, but I'm still talking and thinking about it...amazing. Pick it up for the Memorial Day holiday weekend and let me what ya think.
