In 2010 I vowed to do more community service. Not the kind of service that one usually thinks of such as building a house, serving meals to the homeless or packing boxes at a food pantry (all of which I have done in the past). I did hold true by giving to organizations my time...my time in serving on a board at www.wbenc.org and conducting site visits for them in the metroploitan area, which I did today. I also give and enourmous amount of time (weekly) www.hisworldwidecommunity.org to help them with tax and administrative matters...lots of hard work, but very satisfying.
In honor of Dr. Martin Kuther King's Birthday today, I spent time uploading important documents that we all use to an on-line respository to make our working relationship much more efficient.
Don't overlook giving to organizations use of your spiritual gifts...it may not be the glamourous newsworthy way, but appreciated all the same.
