A second weekend in a row of book promotion. It's really fun educating the African-American community about scrapbooking...even more so about my book in how it's my philosophy on how I educate my children about other cultures so that they will embrace those different from ourselves and not judge others by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. (Leah, my 9 year old surprised me this week by reciting parts of Martin Luther King's I have a Dream speech)
My Display turned out very nicely, I change it up for each event, this one also included my latest example of Ethnic Scrapbooking (that I finished up the night before, I'll discuss that further on my blog) and I displayed the books written by new friend & mentor, Lisa Shephard Stewart of Cultured Expressions
