To read the story of how I began my passionate pursuit of scrapbooking, see my essay in Chicken Soup for the Scrapbooker's Soul book. Basically, I inherited a grandmother's scrapbook and realized that I didn't want to leave this worl without my kids knowing who I was. So I set out to scrapbook their lives, our family events and ultimately how I try to introduce them to all cultures so that they may become sensitive human beings. Yes, I create one whole scrapbook about my self each year.
Whenever I get overwhelmed with life and frustrated that I'm so far behind in my scrapbooking, I pull out this book and read a few stories, it's just the inspiration I need to get my motivation back on track.
Chicken Soup for The Scrapbooker's Soul Book Reviews:
Hi Lisa,
You know I loved your entry in the Chicken Soup book! It reminded me
of the box of photos that belong to my mother. There are so many
photos with no documentation so we have no idea who the people are.
It feels like a peice of my puzzle is missing. You have such an
enjoyable writing style Lisa.
